Well this is my first blog post on this website, may as well start off with you what I’m going to be writing on this blog, though the title may of already told you the idea of this blog. Basically I’m just going to write some of the events that happen during the weekend, and include some pictures I have took that are connected to the event I am talking about. Well anyway I’m going to talk what I did during the weekend, which is nothing special, just a hike with my family.
On Saturday I didn’t do anything beside going to the YMCA, but I go their everyday of the week, but not on Sunday. On Sunday me and my family went on hike on a trail which I sadly don’t know the name of, which this was the first time I was every going to hike on the trail so I was very excited. When we were a few minutes into the hike I started to hear the sounds of a river and a few frogs croaking, which to be honest made me really happy and excited for what else lied on the trail. As we walk on the trail, we pass by other hikers and a few mountain bikers, and soon saw a river that had flowing water.

I was very excited to see a river with flowing water, since I currently live in California and all the rivers I saw had little to no water, which makes me so sad that if I cried, I could possibly bring water back to these rivers. As me and my family continue on we saw more of the rivers, but no frogs sadly, and soon the trial lead to a open field, which was a sight to behold. I really like the view we got, where one side had a view of the mountains and on the opposite side, we could see a little bit of the ocean. This place, and the other stuff on the trail made me really happy that I told my mom to take us all on a hike, where I can spend more time with my family, and enjoy the nature of the state I live in.

After taking in the view of the place and my parents taking some family photos of us in front of the scenery, we continue on with the hike. The rest of the hike went very well, we did have to go through the river sometimes to get on the trail, but none of us fell into the water, even though that would of been funny if it happen to one of us. We near the end of the trail where it ends at what I think was a rest stop for the people on the trail, but there were some sighs that said it was property of a house. At this rest stop was some benches to sit on, and what I think was a water fountain, none of us drank from the fountain since we didn’t know if it was a water fountain, and we didn’t want to get anything that could be on the nozzle, just to be safe.
After we took a break, we went back the trail to get to our car going on the same trail we took to get to the rest stop. When we were passing through a part of the river on the trial, one of my little brothers got his entire foot into the water getting his shoes and socks soaking wet. Me, my parents, and my other little brother thought this was hilarious, since my brother tried to clean his with the drinking water he had, which my mom told him not to, so this seems like karma for wasting his water on his shoes. After that it was just a normal hike again, but now with more croaking from frogs, which again sadly I couldn’t see any of the frogs to get a good photo for this blog, and being a lot colder since the sun was setting.
Me and my family went into the car and drove to yogurt land, where me and my brothers got frozen yogurts to go. We went home and went to bed at around 10 o’clock since we had school tomorrow, which made me sad because I’m not the biggest fan of school, and just wanted to stay home and sleep in. That’s pretty much what I did during the weekend, I know this wasn’t the most exciting thing to read about, and there are other blogs better than this one. If you are currently reading this part, I want to thank you for reading this first blog on this website, there will be more average blogs that will hopefully have more interesting topics than this one, but I can’t make any promises, sorry.
