My Weekend At Las Vegas

So what this happen weekend (3/16-17) is I went out of my home state of California, and went to Nevada to go to Las Vegas with my family. The reason we were going to Las Vegas was because there was a party happening with some relatives. The main reason we went to Las Vegas was so we can see the sights of Vegas, and so my parents could go to the casino. Don’t worry, My parents only used the money they got in the casino to use on the slot machine, and not use any of the money they got from work or the money needed to go home. On to more details on what happened in Vegas, I know i’m Breaking the “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but I need something to write for this week.

On Friday I got back from a trip with my Mad academy family, which was really fun and I made a lot of new friends, and quickly started to pack for the trip since we leave in an hour when I got home. I packed all of my things, got in the car, and we went off on the 5 hour trip to Las Vegas. I slept for most of the trip, when I woke up, I was in Vegas and it was Saturday, and the first thing I saw was an advertisement, which was very white, so looking at it after waking up burned my eyes, almost like looking at the sun. We went to a casino where some relatives were at, and my parents started to play on the slot machine, while me and my brothers waited on sidelines, since we weren’t allow to go near the machine. Soon we went to our hotel room, and slept to get ready for the next day where we would explore Las Vegas.

The casino I first went to when I got to Vegas.

When I woke up I did my daily morning routine, and soon the rest of my family got ready, and we took a shuttle to a casino different from the one we went to last night, called Excalibur. We walk through the casino seeing the slot machines and the shops the place had, and got something to eat for breakfast. We went outside and started to walk down the Las Vegas strip, seeing all the shops Las Vegas had to offer, and went into the M&M store where we watched the free show, and bought some items from the store. We continue on walking down the Las Vegas strip, passing by people who were in……. non child appropriate outfits, so I did the reasonable thing and walked pass them, pretending they were not there. We continue walking to a really popular taco place, where the tacos were really good, and went into the casino we were last night. For the rest of the night my parents and older relatives gamble, while me and younger relatives played in the arcade the casino had.

So while my parents were wasting money on the slot machine, me and my relatives were wasting money on arcade games where we got tickets and got some prizes from the prize corner. Soon we all went home by a Uber, since my older relatives had to go to the party, so they got ready, while me and my younger relatives got ready to go to the pools the hotel had. The pool we went to wasn’t really a pool, but a tiny lazy river, which is better than a regular pool in my opinion. In the river I just relaxed and started to talked to myself, soon we went to a hot tub, then went to the hotel room. When we got to the room it turned out my parents never went to the party, so they order a pizza for us and a salad for me. The pizza arrived and It was bigger than expected, I mean so big that eating two slices already made my stomach full. After eating a few slices of pizza, I played on the Nintendo switch I brought, got ready for bed and went to bed.

*Pizza Time Intensify*

So after I well night rest, it was sunday, got ready for the day and waited for the rest of my family to wake up and get ready for the day. We took the shuttle again to the casino we were drop off at yesterday and stayed there for awhile, since the casino had arcade games and a Dairy Queen, I got a smoothie from Dairy Queen. Soon we went off no to the streets again and walked to New York New York, saw the Statue of Liberty, and went to the heresy store, but we didn’t get anything from the store. Soon we walked to a casino called Cesar palace, and went to another place to find a place to eat, then we found a McDonald’s and me and my younger relatives ate there. After that we went to a place that had the theme of Venice, with a river and boats with singers controlling the boats, and the adults ate at a place since they were hungry. Soon we went through the place, bought some of the items at the stores, and continue down the street to a Casino.

I don’t know why the statute has a black tarp on it.

We stayed most of the night at the casino with the adults playing the slot machines, and me and my young relatives playing the arcade games and watching the free circus shows the place had. Soon it was time to leave so we walked up the street to meet some relatives that were at a different casino, and stopped to see a volcano erupt, it was pretty cool. We met up with my relatives and we split up to check out more of the stores of Las Vegas and went to the high roller. The High Roller was close for some reason so instead we took a Uber back to the hotel room and slept because tomorrow all of us would be returning home.

A nice building being light up at night.

We woke up around 6am, got ready and clean up the room, packed everything into the car and went on the road, heading home. We stop for food on the road and for gas and bathroom breaks, so the trip back was longer than the trip to get to Vegas. During the trip I watch YouTube videos on my phone until it was on really low power, like in the 20 to 10 percent power range. Then I played on my Nintendo switch some smash bros until we’ve arrived back home. Since I was feeling ill from the car ride I couldn’t go to school, so I spent the rest of the day with the anxiety that I had a lot of work to make up. I went back to school to learned I missed three test, which I have to make up two of those test so it isn’t bad, but I also learned that I have a upcoming math test on Thursday, someone help me, please.

So yeah Vegas was fun, but it’s not a place that I am eager to back to, vegas is not the place for me. The theming of the casinos were nice, but there was a lot of non child appropriate things, that made me feel uncomfortable during my time in vegas. So yeah I don’t hate vegas, it just not a place that’s for me, I rather just stay home than go to Vegas. Anyway that is all that happen this weekend, it was very eventful and not average, and that’s pretty interesting top write about in this post. That’s all for this blog post, thanks for reading if you made this far, have a nice life.
